CONFORMITY: behaving in accordance to socially accepted conventions. Means:
as humans, we conform to social norms in order to fit in
3 main concepts:
COMPLYING: change in behaviour without internalising the opinion or reason IDENTIFICATION: changes in behaviour and opinion to identify with the influencing group INTERNALISING: change in behaviour and opinion

Two main ways: conformity - following people that are like us/obedience – people who tell us what to do
Learning by observing and imitating role models: Social Learning Theory
ATTENTION: paying attention to a role model RETENTION: retain behaviour observed REPRODUCTION: replicate the behaviour of the learning model MOTIVATION: learners must want to display what they've learned
